This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead security initiatives that enhance business operations and safeguard Tines customers, brand, and personnel.
• Analyze security trends and incidents, implementing controls based on insights gained.
• Conduct security assessments of infrastructure and product functionalities.
• Revise and update security policies and procedures as necessary.
• Expand detection and response capabilities across various environments and systems.
• Monitor and drive the remediation of vulnerabilities in both production and corporate settings.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure prompt resolution of vulnerabilities.
• Support security training and keep employees informed about emerging security threats.
• Serve as an escalation contact for automated detections necessitating human evaluation.
• Actively search for potential threats throughout the environment.
• Carry out regular on-call duties, including acting as an incident commander during security events.
• Ensure that security controls are effectively deployed and tested across cloud environments and corporate endpoints.
• Automate security operations utilizing Tines.
• 6 - 8+ years of experience in a security role managing intricate cloud environments.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud security, including deployment, management, protection, and monitoring of services in AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of securing container technologies such as Docker, AWS ECS, and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in AWS or equivalent security management and monitoring tools like CloudTrail, GuardDuty, CloudWatch, Security Hub, Inspector, and Config.
• Experience in implementing and monitoring controls related to security frameworks such as SOC2, ISO, CMMC, and FedRAMP.
• Background in automating security tasks using SOAR tools and/or programming languages like Python or Go.
• Familiarity with command-line operations, log analysis, common attack vectors, and OS hardening for Linux and macOS.
• Experience participating in an on-call rotation in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and time management skills, capable of working independently or collaboratively with colleagues.
