This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee daily development, implementation, and maintenance of security controls across various product security engineering teams.
• Architect and design secure digital products utilizing contemporary tools, technologies, frameworks, and systems.
• Leverage scientific and technological expertise in the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of secure software.
• Manage and take ownership of applications in production environments.
• Propel digital product success through key performance indicators, including security metrics.
• Provide guidance on intricate security engineering issues.
• Convert security strategy into ambitious and meaningful objectives.
• Lead teams responsible for strategic and essential security architecture.
• Serve as an authority on best practices for secure software and disseminate knowledge throughout the organization.
• Influence stakeholders to promote the adoption of security controls and practices.
• Design, implement, and commercialize security controls to address complex business and technology challenges.
• Evaluate and offer security technology support to business and technical teams.
• Examine end-to-end business and technology processes with a focus on identifying security risks and their mitigations.
• Assess system enhancements and upgrades while influencing the security product roadmap.
• Identify and execute process improvements and opportunities for product simplification within security operations.
• Provide technical or functional leadership for members of the security engineering team.
• Ensure adherence to industry and technology best practices for secure development and operations.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in security engineering is preferred.
• At least 3 years in a technical leadership or managerial capacity.
• Profound understanding of secure software development, vulnerability management, cloud security, application security, and contemporary security engineering practices.
• Familiarity with secure software configuration and development, including secure APIs, authentication/authorization, encryption, and threat modeling.
• Experience with modern security frameworks, tools, and methodologies, including DevSecOps, CI/CD security, and cloud-native security.
• In-depth comprehension of technology best practices in secure development and compliance.
• Proficient in Test Driven Development (TDD), Agile SCRUM methodologies, and secure software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous learning in the field of security.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• A background investigation is required.
• Reliable internet connection is necessary, with a minimum speed of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
