📋 Description

• Performs debugging of software products by utilizing systematic testing methods to establish, implement, and uphold quality standards for company offerings.

• Designs, modifies, and executes software testing plans, automated scripts, and programs for thorough evaluation.

• Enhances existing automation tools to improve their functionality and maintainability.

• Keeps detailed records of test outcomes to aid in the debugging and modification processes of software.

• Evaluates test outcomes to confirm existing functionalities and suggests necessary corrective measures.

• Collaborates with development engineers to resolve technical issues.

• Offers insights during the preparation of technical evaluations of programming languages, systems, and computational software.

• Guarantees the quality integration of computer systems into the overall processes of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.

• Enhances and maintains our automated testing and continuous integration systems.

• Works alongside a team of security and software engineers to create system-level testing.

• Engages with sales teams and customers to replicate, diagnose, and assist in resolving field issues.

• Acquires new technologies as necessary to develop tools that boost efficiency and productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Over 7 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, including at least 3 years as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) and 2 years of development in Javascript/Typescript.

• Proficient in Javascript and/or Typescript.

• Experience in creating internal tools aimed at enhancing developer experience and productivity.

• Exceptional debugging capabilities for diagnosing issues within a multi-tier web architecture.

• Flexibility to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced agile environment.

• Comfortable with reading and writing code, along with a basic comprehension of data structures.

• Practical experience in designing and developing automation frameworks from the ground up.

• Familiarity with writing backend integration tests for RESTful APIs.

• Frontend Test Automation expertise in tools like TestCafe, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools (we utilize Playwright).

• Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) tools.

• CI tooling experience with Github Actions or a similar knowledge of source control and release management, especially regarding when, where, why, and how to test.

• Understanding of virtualization and containerization technologies, such as Docker.

• Familiarity with Lean and Agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of Cloud technologies, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• Experience in log analysis.

• Familiarity with testing agentic systems and utilizing agents to optimize daily workflows.
