Senior Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Accountable for ensuring the agile methodology is utilized effectively and for addressing any technical or business obstacles that impede the agile team's progress.

• Tasked with assisting the team in overseeing the development project.

• Engage in activities that eliminate both internal and external barriers affecting the team's productivity and delivery schedules;

• Generate product and team reports in alignment with the agile methodology being implemented;

• Monitor, identify, document, escalate, and track the resolution of internal and external challenges that impact the team's efficiency and output;

• Work towards resolving incidents related to applications managed by the team within the designated SLA, clarifying queries between the requester and the team, while also monitoring and updating the client's service management tools;

• Participate in team ceremonies and represent the team whenever their physical presence is not necessary;

• Collaborate with the client to verify the team's deliverables;

• Request and track essential tasks with Infrastructure or other teams needed for the team's operations;

• Facilitate all processes related to the deployment of solutions, enhancements, and fixes into production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, ideally in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field in software development or software engineering.

• Professional experience as a Scrum Master or in IT project management using agile methodologies; familiarity with public sector contracts is advantageous.

• Possession of PSM or CSM certification.

• Demonstrated expertise in Azure DevOps (boards, sprints, backlog, dashboards).

• Experience in managing multiple teams or projects concurrently.

• Familiarity with contractual terms, deadlines, and formal acceptance criteria.

• Skills in servant leadership, assertive communication, and conflict mediation.

• Proven experience in applying agile software development principles and practices, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, and Kanban.
