This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Coach & Facilitate: Mentor the team on Scrum principles and the Agile Manifesto; facilitate essential ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, reviews, retrospectives) in a hands-off manner—encouraging inquiry and facilitation rather than directing or performing the tasks.
• Empower & Enable: Foster self-managing teams, establishing a safe environment that permits teams to learn from failures and enhance their performance, aiming for self-sufficiency within a few months.
• Partner with Product: Collaborate in a co-empowering relationship with the Product Owner, providing guidance on agile boundaries, backlog prioritization, and value creation.
• Metrics & Improvement: Own agile metrics to uncover insights that drive ongoing enhancement; leverage data evidence to constructively challenge unrealistic delivery timelines and safeguard team flow.
• Stakeholder Management: Navigate stakeholder relationships under executive scrutiny, confidently working within established escalation pathways to ensure that concerns are addressed at the appropriate level.
• Continuous Improvement: Remain with teams for the long term, fostering sustained focus on maturity and assisting other Scrum Masters throughout the organization.
• Agile Expertise: Strong understanding of the Scrum Guide and Agile Manifesto; candidates should be operating at or near an agile-coach level (not early-career).
• Pure Scrum Master Role: This is a dedicated Scrum Master position; we seek individuals focused solely on this role, not hybrid positions (e.g., SM/Business Analyst).
• Coaching & Influence: Demonstrated experience in coaching and facilitating without authority; comfortable allowing teams to find their own rhythm.
• Metrics Analysis: Extensive knowledge of agile metrics; capability to analyze data to promote improvement and protect team flow.
• Scaling Experience: Proficient in scaling strategies (e.g., scrum-of-scrums) and skilled in applying them appropriately as the organization expands.
• Stakeholder Management: Assurance in managing stakeholders under scrutiny and effectively escalating concerns.
• Additional Experience Desired
• Workshop Facilitation: Background in designing and conducting workshops, mindset exercises, and games for both new and existing teams.
• Emotional Intelligence: Ability to gauge team health through behaviors, tone, and interpersonal interactions.
• Missionary Mindset: Proven history of guiding teams from "cost-centre" mentalities to high-performing, mission-driven units.
• Imagine a flexible work environment – whether it's the office, your home, or a combination of both.
• You will become part of a global team, learning from exceptional talent worldwide and across cultures, using English daily.
• We prioritize your well-being – as a company, we dedicate an entire trimester in our annual cycle to focus on wellness.
• Our professional services model accelerates career growth and development opportunities – spanning projects, offerings, and industries.
• We are an equal opportunity employer.
