Scrum Master / Agile Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Mentor teams on Agile principles, Scrum methodologies, and ongoing enhancement to improve delivery results.

• Assist teams in cultivating effective strategies for planning, collaboration, and assessing and adapting their workflows.

• Facilitate essential Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, etc.) while promoting greater team ownership of these processes.

• Guide teams in recognizing opportunities for improvement and testing new approaches to their work.

• Collaborate with Product Owners to enhance the clarity, prioritization, and alignment of the backlog with business objectives.

• Identify obstacles to team advancement and support their resolution at the team, program, or organizational level.

• Promote transparency and coach teams to utilize metrics and feedback to enhance predictability and workflow.

• Encourage robust collaboration among developers, Product Owners, architects, and stakeholders.

• Assist the wider organization in comprehending and advancing Agile practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a University Degree or equivalent experience along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related discipline with at least 3 years of experience.

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in coaching Agile teams.

• Demonstrated experience in applying Agile principles and Scrum methodologies.

• Background in leading or coaching teams in technical settings.

• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.

• U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information related to this program/contract.
