This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies, which include daily standups, Sprint Planning/Grooming, Sprint Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives.
• Oversee the maintenance of JIRA and other visual management tools for teams.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to team members on Agile values, principles, practices, and processes.
• Empower teams to develop self-organizing and self-managing capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product Management to create release plans and ensure product backlogs are well-groomed, prioritized, and visible.
• Inspire teams and encourage shared ownership of analysis, development, testing, documentation, and other committed tasks.
• Identify and communicate project risks, dependencies, and team impediments.
• Ensure that the definition of done is established at the story, sprint, and release levels.
• Enhance productivity through discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• Protect teams from external disruptions.
• Facilitate internal and external communication to enhance transparency.
• Create a trusting and safe environment that emphasizes problem-solving.
• Evaluate Scrum maturity and guide teams towards achieving sustainable higher maturity levels.
• Encourage continuous improvement and suggest modifications to delivery practices.
• Participate in Scrum of Scrums meetings for cross-team collaboration, release-plan coordination, and testing integration.
• Build and sustain robust relationships with stakeholders, including customers.
• Support the software development lifecycle delivery for complex systems serving U.S. Courts and related justice-service stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of five years (5+) of experience in an Agile development environment.
• Experience in applying and implementing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Ability to handle multiple projects and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Background in software development or experience working within a software development organization.
• Capability to foster and improve team dynamics and collaboration.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Scrum Master (PMI-ACP) certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Energetic, goal-oriented, proactive, innovative, diligent, and patient.
• No security clearance is currently necessary.
• U.S. citizenship is not mandatory.
• 40 hours of scheduled work per week.
• Must undergo an identity verification process that includes biometrics and artificial intelligence.
