Manager, Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Facilitate and conduct Scrum events.

• Eliminate obstacles and encourage collaboration.

• Assist the Product Owner.

• Promote continuous improvement.

• Ensure the Scrum framework is effectively implemented.

• Mentor Scrum Masters and Product Owners on agile principles, values, and best practices.

• Create budgets and resource planning strategies based on team velocity, historical data, and constraints.

• Identify work that can be accomplished within the proposed project timelines.

• Ensure risk assessments encompass identification, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans.

• Set up Scrum processes for managing backlogs, prioritization, and refining user stories.

• Predict team capacity and delivery potential for upcoming projects.

• Assist in creating a shared language and framework for team collaboration.

• Enhance team capacity and explore potential bottlenecks.

• Incorporate adaptability, transparency, and customer collaboration into departmental processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant work experience.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.

• A growth mindset that embraces agility and personal development.

• Proficient execution and delivery skills, including planning, executing, and supporting.

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) is preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree, specialized training, or a relevant professional qualification is preferred.
