Senior School Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Oversee 6-8 clients, providing strategic guidance for school operations.

• Supervise or mentor 1-3 junior staff members.

• Independently manage the complete monthly closing process.

• Present at all meetings or mentor junior staff on presentation skills.

• Prepare all reports and compliance documentation.

• Act as the primary client management contact for audit-related documents.

• Assist the Sales Team with potential new client opportunities.

• Lead initiatives with prelaunch clients and kick off regional/national programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive background in financial management, accounting, or auditing, particularly in educational finance.

• Thorough understanding of regulations and compliance requirements related to educational finance.

• Strong financial leadership capabilities to create and execute strategic financial plans.

• Proven track record of establishing and nurturing strong relationships with clients, including education stakeholders.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in overseeing teams of finance professionals.

• In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance standards affecting educational finance.

• Advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience in the public/private sector.

• 2-3 years of experience in the role of School Finance Manager.
