Senior Scala/C# Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services utilizing Scala and/or C#.

• Enhance and support distributed microservices operating on AWS ECS.

• Create and sustain integrations across services through service discovery and event-driven communication methodologies.

• Produce high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code within an established cloud-native platform.

• Engage with messaging systems and asynchronous processing solutions.

• Collaborate closely with seasoned engineers and domain specialists in payment processing.

• Effectively leverage AI-assisted development tools while ensuring engineering rigor and code quality.

• Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization activities for backend applications.

• Contribute to technical design discussions and the architectural advancement of the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong practical experience in backend engineering.

• Demonstrated expertise in Scala or C#.

• Familiarity with AWS.

• Prior experience with Microservices architecture.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Experience with AI-assisted development.

• A high level of English proficiency is required for this position, as you will collaborate with US clients. Effective communication in English is crucial to deliver optimal solutions to our clients and broaden your opportunities.
