Senior SAP TD Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Conduct a thorough analysis to acquire a comprehensive understanding of the business processes relevant to your assigned requirements.

• Take full ownership of one or more requirements, overseeing, tracking, and ensuring their resolution.

• Collaborate with YPF teams to gather and comprehend business needs.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation of scenarios, processes, and procedural steps.

• Create solution proposals that align with SAP Best Practices and the Standard First approach.

• Assess new Business Functions and other SAP solutions.

• Prepare estimates for effort and timelines.

• Develop work plans that identify necessary resources, profiles, and dependencies.

• Coordinate activities and resources to ensure execution within the scheduled sprints.

• Conduct solution configuration, testing, and documentation.

• Identify discrepancies between business requirements and standard SAP functionalities.

• Develop Business Cases for identified gaps.

• Present identified gaps to the Gap-Killing Committee and monitor the approval or rejection process.

• Draft functional and technical specifications and oversee the development of approved gaps.

• Analyze incidents and issues by researching SAP Notes and SAP Marketplace, and follow up on support cases with SAP.

• Collaborate with business user teams for validation, acceptance, and approvals.

• Create test plans and develop test cases.

• Perform unit tests, document evidence, and coordinate or participate in integration testing.

• Ensure the quality of deliverables and document the outcomes.

• Suggest enhancements to the user experience within the SAP ecosystem, including SAP BTP.

• Engage with maintenance management and agile methodologies, participating in project sprints and ceremonies.

• Utilize SAP Solution Manager to track and manage activities.

• Experience as an SAP TD Consultant.

• Extensive experience in SAP projects along with support and maintenance.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage requirements from start to finish.

• Familiarity with SAP Best Practices and the Standard First approach.

• Experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design.

• Proficient in configuration, testing, and documentation.

• Experience in analyzing and addressing functional gaps.

• Knowledge of SAP Notes and SAP Marketplace.

• Proficient in using SAP Solution Manager.

• Understanding of agile methodologies.

• Fluent/advanced Spanish is essential for interaction with YPF teams and users.

• Knowledge of or experience with SAP BTP is advantageous.
