This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Deliver application support to payroll clients by offering advice, guidance, and relevant technical activities.
• Oversee incidents, requests, and changes from external customers utilizing the ServiceNow tool promptly and accurately, adhering to ITIL principles.
• Provide functional analysis and guidance on payroll processing inquiries for UKI.
• Serve as the lead for the UKI Payroll AMS team, mentoring junior colleagues, leading the daily standup calls, and collaborating with the management team on planning and knowledge transfer initiatives.
• Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for one or more customers, ensuring a key point of contact with comprehensive knowledge of their configurations and payroll processing cycles.
• Ensure that client documentation is updated to reflect any modifications made to their systems.
• Manage change requests (typically under 20 days) from requirements gathering through estimation, unit testing, and deployment, to deliver high-quality solutions that align with our customers’ business needs.
• Provide status updates and progress reports to the SAP Support Lead during daily standup calls to highlight blockers and share pertinent information with the wider team.
• Participate in customer issue calls to provide updates on incidents reported to the team.
• Utilize analytical skills to identify and rectify defects, ensuring customer satisfaction with the resolutions provided.
• Address complex defects related to overtime, social security calculations, legal reporting, allowances, sickness, taxes, postings, payslips, RTI, and other UK-specific payroll matters.
• Adhere to Strada's best practices concerning change and release management.
• Manage the testing and implementation of SAP patches, including HRSP and CLC updates.
• Support End of Year/Start of Year processes in collaboration with the customer’s payroll team.
• Must possess hands-on experience with UKI Payroll – including Schemas, PCRs, wage type creation, and basic pay configuration.
• Demonstrated experience working with SAP Payroll systems (SuccessFactors ECP is a plus), providing maintenance, troubleshooting, configuration, and support.
• Ability to prioritize tasks across multiple clients to ensure deadlines are met and contractual SLA targets are achieved.
• Strong communication skills to inform customers using business terminology rather than technical jargon.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, systems, and UKI legislation.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Capability to build rapport with stakeholders at every level.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility regarding working hours if necessary due to critical payroll issues or escalations.
• Experience in systems implementation is not mandatory but would be advantageous.
• Eagerness to become a subject-matter expert on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) modules.
