This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Ensure the precise, timely, and compliant delivery of payroll services for approximately 3,000 employees.
• Collaborate effectively with our third-party provider (Zellis) as well as the Internal expenses, benefits, and pensions team.
• Address payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries directly through email and video communication.
• Manage complex manual calculations related to company car schemes, health cash plans, deductions, and lifecycle changes (such as back pay, terminations, and statutory leave).
• Prepare and manage payroll data for company pensions (including auto-enrollment), flexible benefits, and employee expenses.
• Maintain system records, process statutory forms (P45s, court orders), oversee overpayments, and ensure strict compliance with audit requirements.
• Substantial experience in payroll administration with a strong understanding of UK legislation (PAYE, NI, and statutory entitlements).
• Advanced Numerical Skills: Proficient in executing complex manual calculations and adept at identifying data discrepancies.
• Communication & Discretion: Capable of articulating intricate tax or payroll details clearly and professionally to employees while upholding strict confidentiality.
• Previous experience with Zellis or a comparable outsourced payroll platform is highly desirable.
