Payroll Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive payroll account reconciliations, which include entries in the general ledger and variance analysis.

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries related to payroll, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

• Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to guarantee accurate reflection of payroll activities in the general ledger.

• Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes pertinent to payroll.

• Maintain payroll records that are audit-ready and ensure adherence to internal controls and audit standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in processing multi-state payroll.

• At least 2 years’ experience in analysis, auditing, and driving process improvements.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or financial analysis.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Certification as a Payroll Professional is preferred.

• Proficient in Workday, particularly in payroll and timekeeping functionalities.
