Senior SAP Development Consultant – Focus on Fiori and UI5

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take the lead in developing comprehensive solutions for energy providers, handling everything from requirements analysis to maintenance and optimization.

• Create SAP architectures that emphasize SAP Fiori/UI5-based solutions along with backend service integrations.

• Design and implement UI concepts, data models, services, and business logic, ensuring their integration into existing SAP landscapes such as S/4HANA and S/4 Utilities.

• Utilize SAPUI5/Fiori, OData/REST APIs, CDS views, and SAP API Management to effectively map processes within the energy sector.

• Provide guidance to business units and IT teams regarding best practices, extension strategies, and integration scenarios.

• Conduct workshops and demonstrations.

• Establish and define development and integration standards for both customers and internal teams.

• Mentor and guide consultants and junior developers.

• Cultivate expertise in Fiori/UI5 specifically within the utilities sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of proven experience in SAP development (both backend and full-stack), preferably within the energy industry.

• Strong proficiency in several of the following technologies: SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, CDS, RAP, OData/REST services, and ABAP.

• Experience in mapping business processes for energy providers using SAP S/4 Utilities or similar industry solutions.

• Background in solution design, architecture, and technical consulting, including documentation, solution outlines, and alignment with stakeholders.

• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and offer well-founded recommendations.

• Experience in managing projects or sub-projects.

• Basic understanding of DevOps principles, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficient in German and have good command of English.

• Strong customer orientation, confident demeanor, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

• Willingness to deliver presentations, lead internal sessions, or engage in community activities focusing on topics like Fiori/UI5 or energy-sector processes.
