Senior SAP BTP Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain high-quality SAP BTP solutions.

• Engage in application development, automation, and integration tasks.

• Develop solutions using SAP UI5, Fiori, Workflows, and SAP Build.

• Construct and tailor Fiori applications.

• Create SAP Build projects focusing on business processes, automation, decisions, and process visibility.

• Configure SAP BTP and its services across various runtimes.

• Implement security protocols using XSUAA, Connectivity, and Destination services.

• Uphold code quality, version control, and CI/CD pipelines in line with DevOps best practices.

• Develop applications utilizing SAP CAP, Node.js, and CDS.

• Configure SAP IAS/IPS with corporate identity providers.

• Design and execute integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Work with BTP Integration Suite, API Management, Events, and key integration adapters.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5+ years of recent and relevant experience in SAP BTP development.

• Strong knowledge of BTP services pertinent to application development and automation.

• Proven experience in software engineering with a strong emphasis on coding and technical implementation.

• Hands-on experience with SAP UI5, Fiori, Workflows, and SAP Build (Process Automation, Build Apps, Work Zone).

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.

• Experience in developing and customizing Fiori apps utilizing Fiori Elements, Smart Controls, and annotations.

• Experience in creating SAP Build projects related to Business Processes, Automation, Decision, and Process Visibility.

• Application integration experience with REST/OData APIs, SAP ECC, and SAP S/4HANA.

• Extensive experience in configuring SAP BTP and its services; Cloud Foundry runtime is required.

• Proficiency with SAP Business Application Studio, Visual Studio Code, and SAP BTP Cockpit.

• Familiarity and practical experience with XSUAA, Connectivity, and Destination services.

• Experience with GitHub or GitLab, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.

• Solid understanding of SAP Cloud Connector.

• Experience in building applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js, JavaScript/Node.js, and Core Data Services (CDS).

• Experience configuring SAP IAS/IPS with corporate identity providers like Okta.

• Capability to design and implement integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems using BTP Integration Suite, API Management, and Events.

• Hands-on experience with A2A and B2B scenarios including SFTP, SOAP, REST, IDoc, OData, JDBC, and SuccessFactors adapters.

• Problem-solving attitude and team-oriented mindset.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Must be able to operate on Eastern Timezone.
