Senior Salesforce Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design, strategy, and governance of intricate, enterprise-wide Salesforce implementations.

• Serve as trusted advisors to clients by defining technical solutions, managing integration architecture, ensuring high-performance standards, and mentoring teams.

• Take ownership of technical discovery, solution design, and documentation for client engagements.

• Perform technical reviews to guarantee that solutions are scalable, maintainable, and in accordance with Salesforce best practices.

• Design and supervise integrations between Salesforce and external systems (APIs, middleware, ETL).

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for significant client accounts.

• Facilitate technical workshops, discovery sessions, and presentations for stakeholders.

• Convert complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Assist in pre-sales activities through technical scoping, estimation, and proposal contributions.

• Develop trusted relationships with client technical teams and leadership.

• Manage a team of 3-4 technical consultants and developers.

• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and career development planning.

• Mentor and coach team members, aiding their technical growth and certification pursuits.

• Allocate and oversee team workload across various projects.

• Cultivate a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new technical team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 years of practical Salesforce development and architecture experience.

• Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, SOQL/SOSL.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, security model, and governor limits.

• Exceptional client-facing communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

• Prior experience managing or leading a small technical team.

• Familiarity with integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, platform events).

• Proven track record in designing and delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions.

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System Architect).

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

• Exposure to other platforms (e.g., NetSuite, MuleSoft) is advantageous.

• Experience in a consultancy or professional services setting.

• Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, Vlocity/Industries, or Marketing Cloud.

• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Gearset, Copado, or similar).
