Lead Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Independently steer the technical direction and execution by the entire team within the established architecture throughout all stages from conceptualization to deployment.

• Assess trade-offs between accuracy, robustness, performance, and customer impact to guarantee the development of the appropriate solution, with a strong emphasis on client success.

• Develop and oversee the team's technical documentation and repository management practices, including tasks such as creating branches, pull requests, merges, and more.

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure necessary oversight of architecture and dependencies that affect product strategy and direction.

• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and resolving complex bug fixes with an emphasis on security, performance, and reliability.

• Actively participate as a leader in the Engineering Practice community, mentoring Senior Engineers and others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) or project teams, fostering the enhancement of technical capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer or Salesforce Engineer.

• Strong experience with advanced Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) development.

• In-depth understanding of Salesforce limits, security, and the sharing model.

• High proficiency in crafting optimized SOQL and SOSL queries, along with a comprehensive understanding of relationship queries.

• Proven capability to design and implement asynchronous processing within Salesforce.

• Experience in integrating Salesforce with external APIs and services.

• Significant experience in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests for Apex and LWC.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce (e.g., scratch orgs, deployments, automated testing).

• Expertise in applying object-oriented programming, preferably with experience in languages such as Java/C#.

• A high level of English proficiency is essential for interacting with a globally-based development team.

• Experience leading Agile software development methodologies.

• Proven experience in adhering to and adapting high-level architecture to meet project and client requirements.

• Ability to verify and validate architecture implementations and influence overall architecture beyond the immediate team.

• Proficiency in high-level design following UML / C4 / ArchiMate.

• Experience collaborating effectively among relevant information stakeholders to create and implement well-tested, scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise-level systems that ultimately achieve the client’s desired business outcomes.

• Demonstrated initiative in mentoring other engineers and decision-makers throughout the organization.

• Strong knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns, SOLID principles, and OWASP.
