Senior Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation and implementation of Salesforce solutions utilizing various Cloud offerings.

• Design comprehensive Salesforce solutions through both configuration and customization techniques.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements, assess business processes, and provide scalable solutions.

• Create Salesforce components utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.

• Work in close partnership with solution architects and functional consultants to develop scalable solutions across Sales, Service, Commerce, and Consumer Goods Cloud.

• Integrate Salesforce with external systems via APIs and middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, SAP CPI).

• Engage in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes.

• Contribute to DevOps automation using Git, Gearset, or DevOps Center.

• Recommend enhancements for performance, reusability, or developer experience.

• Assist in defect resolution, enhancements, and deployment activities.

• Remain informed about the latest Salesforce innovations and contribute to internal initiatives and team development.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–7+ years of practical Salesforce development experience.

• Proficient in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and Flow.

• Experience in implementing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Commerce solutions.

• Knowledge of integration design, platform limitations, and test automation.

• Familiarity with Git-based version control and CI/CD tools.

• Experience working within structured project teams or consulting settings.

• Eagerness to learn about Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud and apply it in practical applications.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to debug intricate technical issues.

• Proficient in English; additional languages (e.g., German, French) are advantageous.

• Proven dedication to enhancing processes—whether in performance, automation, or user experience.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and functional teams.

• A mindset focused on learning and adapting in enterprise-scale environments.

• Nice to Have Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, JavaScript Developer I, Integration Architecture Designer).

• Experience with Experience Cloud, CPQ, or Consumer Goods Cloud.

• Background in working with or providing services for consumer goods or retail clients.

• Familiarity with agile delivery tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and TestRail.

• Experience with XML-based design contracts and the Cordova mobile framework.
