Senior Salesforce Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop architecture (objects, fields, page layouts) and automation (workflow rules, process builders, approval processes) on the Salesforce platform.

• Construct declarative components (Apps, Lightning Pages) within Salesforce Lightning.

• Generate on-record analytics (roll-up fields, formula fields, record-level reports) in Salesforce.

• Configure the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) objects, custom settings, and account model.

• Install and set up applications from the Salesforce AppExchange, including email, social media, financial management, online payment, SMS, and form-building applications.

• Install and configure proprietary applications as necessary.

• Define the appropriate data model and system architecture based on business requirements for specified deliverables.

• Produce thorough technical documentation suitable for both engineering teams and clients.

• Draft written recommendations, detailing various solution designs and considerations for each option.

• Discuss data model considerations internally and with clients.

• Design mock-ups of custom pages.

• Rapidly prototype solutions and incorporate feedback to facilitate iterative development cycles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with Management or Technology Consulting.

• Salesforce Administrator Certification (Admin 201) is required.

• Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning and Salesforce Data Loader and/or DemandTools.

• Certification as a Salesforce Cloud Consultant and Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator (Admin 301) is preferred.

• Experience in implementing databases and creating custom applications on the Salesforce platform.

• Experience in building simple decision models from complex logic requirements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint) with strong skills in Excel and Google Sheets.

• Willingness to travel as necessary, approximately 5%.
