
Senior Salesforce Account Executive – Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +28 more states.
• Create and implement targeted account and territory strategies from opportunity generation to contract signing and account growth.
• Acquire new logos and expand existing accounts among wealth managers, asset managers, banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders from Salesforce Financial Services and BWAM.
• Lead pursuit strategies while coordinating resources such as account executives, industry experts, solution engineers, alliances, delivery teams, and executives.
• Formulate Wealth and Asset Management account strategies focused on productivity, client growth and retention, onboarding, service transformation, data modernization, and AI-enhanced operating models.
• Identify and pursue banking opportunities related to customer growth, service transformation, lending, and modernization of data and AI.
• Secure large, multi-year consulting contracts aimed at achieving $6–10 million in annual bookings while ensuring profitability.
• Maintain a qualified sales pipeline with approximately 3–4 times the annual bookings coverage.
• Develop relationships with C-suite and senior business and technology executives.
• Oversee client engagement planning, stakeholder mapping, meeting strategies, follow-up actions, and advancement plans.
• Stay informed about Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, and financial services offerings.
• Collaborate with industry leaders, solution engineers, and delivery teams to align client priorities with Salesforce-based solutions.
• Represent FormativGroup in Salesforce account planning, joint go-to-market initiatives, and industry events.
• Manage commercial strategies including qualification, competitive positioning, pricing coordination, negotiation, and contract finalization.
• Provide accurate forecasts that cover pipeline progression, closing plans, risks, resources, and client updates.
• Keep organized opportunity and account records in Salesforce.
• Work alongside senior leadership to meet bookings and revenue targets.
• 8–10+ years of demonstrated success in selling complex technology consulting, platform implementation, or digital transformation services to mid-sized and enterprise clients.
• Proven success in selling to Wealth Management, Asset Management, Banking, or similar financial services organizations.
• Experience in acquiring new clients and expanding strategic accounts through direct and partner-driven sales approaches.
• Established track record of meeting or surpassing annual sales quotas in the $6–10 million range.
• Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder pursuits while coordinating presales, industry, delivery, alliance, legal, and executive resources.
• Proficient understanding of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, financial services business processes, and regulatory aspects.
• Ability to cultivate executive-level relationships and lead structured discovery discussions.
• Experience in developing and executing targeted account campaigns with measurable pipeline and conversion outcomes.
• Proven history in entrepreneurial, high-growth, and rapidly changing organizations.
• Experience in global or matrixed delivery environments, including collaboration with offshore teams.
• Capability to position large, multi-offering consulting engagements and strategically and profitably grow accounts.
• Strong commercial acumen in qualification, pricing coordination, negotiation, risk management, and bid review.
• Exceptional executive communication, consultative selling, stakeholder management, and business development skills.
• Proven history of building long-term client and partner relationships that yield measurable business and revenue results.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
