This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the execution of a comprehensive sales learning curriculum across multiple workstreams, managing scope, risk, dependencies, and senior stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes.
• Develop, implement, and integrate Elsevier’s sales and CSM methodologies (including Challenger), utilizing a variety of learning methods such as live facilitation, virtual training, digital content, call coaching, and field reinforcement.
• Mentor seasoned sales professionals and front-line managers, offering specific feedback based on actual performance data (e.g., Gong call analysis) to promote lasting behaviour change.
• Collaborate closely with sales and CSM leadership to align educational priorities with business objectives and ensure the application and accountability of training post-delivery.
• Assist managers and leaders in reinforcing learning through clear implementation strategies, coaching frameworks, and ongoing performance discussions.
• Utilize enablement technology (e.g., Gong, Spekit, and learning platforms) to scale learning, digitize materials, and provide just-in-time performance assistance.
• Employ data and insights to assess learning effectiveness and continuously enhance sales capability outcomes.
• Proven success in a sales role, with substantial experience selling complex B2B solutions and engaging senior stakeholders.
• Extensive experience in delivering senior-level sales training and coaching, preferably within global or matrixed sales organizations.
• Strong foundation in contemporary sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger, MEDDICC, or similar) and credibility in collaborating with experienced sales professionals.
• Coaching proficiency, validated by formal certification or a demonstrated history of enhancing sales performance and driving change.
• Expertise in adult learning principles, facilitation, and instructional design, with the capability to convert concepts into practical, field-ready behaviours.
• Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, comfortable working at a fast pace across multiple priorities.
• Data-driven mindset, utilizing technology and insights to measure impact and enhance effectiveness.
