
Senior Sales Strategy Manager, New Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the go-to-market (GTM) sales strategy and execution for one or more of our upcoming product launches, by joining one of our New Product Pods (cross-functional teams dedicated to ensuring the success and scalability of each new product).
• Maintain a comprehensive strategic understanding of the requirements for making priority new products successful and coordinate the efforts of the New Product Pod along with executive communications.
• Drive essential new product strategic initiatives to support Samsara’s long-term growth; collaborate cross-functionally to frame challenges, formulate hypotheses, conduct analyses to convert data into actionable insights, and generate solutions and recommendations through a meticulous, data-driven approach.
• Represent the customer’s perspective within the organization: gather and analyze key market, industry, and customer trends, as well as customer/partner feedback to inform and guide investment decisions across Field Operations and other GTM functions.
• Create strategic and business cases in collaboration with cross-functional teams, outlining business opportunities, rationale, and operational plans to foster the growth of new products.
• Identify opportunities within the organization to enhance performance and unlock productivity, improving overall execution.
• Assist with three-year and annual planning requirements, including generating insights to guide resource investment for new products and ensure Samsara accelerates new product growth.
• Present findings to Samsara leadership on matters related to new product growth.
• Work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and other GTM functions, fostering trusted relationships across organizations and functions to create effective collaboration between cross-functional teams.
• Advocate for, exemplify, and integrate Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we expand globally and establish new offices.
• 6-10 years of experience in Consulting, Finance, Business Operations, Sales Strategy & Operations, or another analytical role.
• A kind and collaborative attitude, energized by engaging with diverse individuals from various teams.
• Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities, coupled with a deep sense of curiosity.
• Proven experience in building trusted relationships and influencing others, including executive audiences.
• A self-starter who excels in fast-paced and often ambiguous environments; enthusiastic about enhancing efficiencies with a bias for action.
• Excellent presentation skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing, comfortable in business and technical discussions.
