• Oversees the relationships with a specific group of major Edwards clients, aiming to increase Edwards' share of their spending.
• Recognizes, cultivates, and finalizes new sales opportunities within the portfolio of their business unit.
• Acts as the primary contact within their business unit for the designated customer base, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology pertinent to EW medical products related to the business.
• Establishes and maintains robust, long-term relationships with customers, referrers, surgeons, and other key influencers in the assigned area.
• Advocates for Edwards' market positioning by employing creative and persuasive skills to influence buying decisions of new or existing customers with tact and diplomacy.
• Identifies and closes new business opportunities with current customers, while recognizing areas for improvement to achieve sales targets and formulating an annual plan to meet regional objectives.
• Performs other incidental duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience is required.
• Experience in the medical devices industry is required.
• Thorough understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of both own and competitor products.
• Develops a deeper comprehension of the business, the medical devices industry, and the selling landscape in their region.
• Comprehensive knowledge of customer organizations and how market conditions affect them.
• Profound understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology relevant to EW medical products as it pertains to the business.
• Capability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to understand customer needs, feedback, and objections, and articulate products to positively influence customer perception of value.
• Utilizes creativity and persuasion skills to influence buying decisions in a tactful and diplomatic manner with both new and existing customers.
• Complies with all EHS regulations and requirements, taking appropriate measures to prevent injuries to self and others, as well as to protect the environment and prevent pollution within their scope of influence/control.
