
Senior Sales Specialist – Poultry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +7 more states.
• This position is tasked with meeting designated sales and profit objectives within the US Midwest region (IA, CA, NE, IN, OH, WI, MN, MO, IL) in alignment with the overarching NORAM strategy.
• The incumbent will recommend and execute approved market strategies for all Novus offerings in the designated territory.
• Additionally, the role involves defining, recommending, and supporting the implementation of effective technical services.
• Oversee Novus operations to enhance both short-term and long-term revenue and profit within the Midwest territory. This includes collaboration with consulting nutritionists, layers, and turkeys.
• Aid in the formation of an efficient NORAM Sales and Marketing team by providing timely and comprehensive market intelligence, proactively sharing sales tools and market insights, and taking charge of personal development.
• Foster stronger partnerships with all customers in the territory through consistent sales visits and participation in industry conferences to ensure business strategy alignment.
• Maintain a close relationship with Novus Marketing, Technical Services, and Customer Service to ensure cohesive alignment on business strategies.
• Adhere to the Novus Management System, Novus Integrity System, and all relevant policies and procedures associated with the role. Always represent Novus International professionally by upholding the highest ethical standards.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training along with 2-5 years of experience in sales and marketing.
• Familiarity with Novus and other industry products pertinent to the poultry sector.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively and positively engage with customers, potential clients, colleagues, and industry professionals.
• Ability to develop business strategies, plans, and tactics while maintaining clear communication with the Novus sales manager and other NORAM sales staff.
• Efficiently manage resources allocated to Novus within the Midwest territory.
• Collaborate within Novus as part of a team effort to maximize product development and sales.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, be insurable, and capable of operating a motor vehicle.
• Willingness to travel 3-5 days a week, 3 out of 4 weeks per month, primarily by company car with occasional air travel.
• Proficiency in English is required.
