
Senior Sales Representative – SVI, Superficial Venous Interventions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Increase sales and market presence within the designated territory by promoting, selling, and servicing Superficial Venous Intervention products.
• Establish new accounts and facilitate the adoption of the VenaSeal and Closure System product line in the field of venous disease management.
• Strategize and implement sales plans to achieve sales goals, annual operating plan (AOP) objectives, and account development benchmarks.
• Target general and vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, interventional cardiologists, and other medical professionals involved in venous disease treatment.
• Recognize opportunities and grow business relationships within hospitals, surgical centers, and physician practices.
• Utilize TAP programs, collaborate with CVG, and leverage partnerships, contracts, and the complete product range to stimulate growth.
• Keep track of market trends and competitive information, relaying pertinent insights to sales management.
• Oversee territory management, account visibility, budget, pricing, contracts, and compliance obligations.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with decision-makers, clients, administrators, and staff members.
• Deliver sales and product presentations, educate clients, address concerns, secure commitments, and finalize deals.
• Sustain existing business, explore new opportunities, represent Medtronic at industry events, and counteract competitor maneuvers.
• Train healthcare professionals on products and procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians to plan cases, manage expectations, support ongoing cases, and engage in clinical discussions.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Work in conjunction with marketing, customer service, finance, and other internal departments.
• Provide market intelligence, competitor activities, sales leads, pricing, and account updates to the District Sales Manager and relevant personnel.
• Acquire technical and clinical product knowledge and stay informed about the reimbursement landscape.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s Degree with 6 years, or a Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years.
• Relevant experience in sales, clinical settings, or related fields within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Familiarity with operating room, hospital, and physician office protocols and practices.
• Proven ability to educate and instruct medical staff, peers, and technical support teams.
• Top-performing individual in the past; recognized in the President’s Club or similar accolades.
• Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Strong presentation capabilities.
• Proficient in business planning.
• Competent in PC applications.
• Proficient with technology and applications, including iPad and Salesforce.com.
• Willingness to travel, which may include overnight stays.
• Flexibility to work or travel during weekends and evenings.
• Capacity to respond to on-call duties.
• Ability to transport products/equipment from vehicle to healthcare facilities.
• Capability to sit, stand, and/or walk for over eight hours a day.
• Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 10% of the time.
• Ability to drive approximately 80% of the time within the assigned area.
• A valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy; driving history will be evaluated.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree meeting 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hiring and throughout employment for positions below the Principal level.
