• Seek out new business prospects in the Cape Town area.
• Identify, develop, and finalize sales of telematics solutions for businesses of all sizes, including large, medium, and small enterprises.
• Generate new sales leads through cold calling and proactive prospecting.
• Build and sustain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
• Oversee sales, training, and customer relationships in Cape Town and, if necessary, throughout other regions of South Africa.
• Assist software partners during sales meetings when needed.
• Meet sales targets and provide timely reports on sales opportunities.
• Demonstrated success in sales within the vehicle telematics or fleet management sector is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in direct sales (B to B), preferably in a BtoB SaaS or IT organization.
• Exceptional listening, analytical, prioritization, and organizational abilities.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com is advantageous but can be acquired.
• Proficient cold calling capabilities.
• Capability to independently manage the complete sales cycle.
• Strong skills in customer relationship management.
