This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Establish and nurture strong working relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their strategies and requirements.
• Cultivate and develop new relationships with prospective accounts, ensuring a deep awareness of their strategies and needs.
• Foster a customer-centric approach within GE operations.
• Offer commercial and technical support to assigned accounts while promoting the advancement of their renewable energy strategies.
• Ensure that GE's products and services are favorably considered in all projects undertaken by assigned accounts.
• Grasp the implications of national and regional market drivers, financing, and the competitiveness of GE's offerings.
• Swiftly identify project challenges and anticipate competitors' actions.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in GE Onshore Wind's products and services and effectively convey their value to assigned accounts.
• Identify, nurture, and close sales opportunities with assigned accounts.
• Recognize, comprehend, and communicate significant customer issues to the Onshore Wind business unit.
• Collaborate effectively in a team setting with commercial operations, technical operations, engineering, finance, the order-to-cash (OTR) process, and services to maximize resource utilization, leading to successful strategies.
• Integrate the broader offerings of GE Vernova into strategic and transactional initiatives and opportunities.
• Engage in and support renewable energy trade shows, conferences, and other market development efforts.
• Maintain precise and current project and opportunity data in the Salesforce management tool and oversee the inquiry-to-order (ITO) process for assigned accounts.
• Participate in quarterly and annual sales planning processes, both internally and with customers.
• Take responsibility for customer commitments, orders, sales, pricing/profitability, cash flow, risk assessment, terms and conditions, and overall customer satisfaction.
• Execute any additional duties as required by management.
• A Bachelor's degree in an engineering or business discipline from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in selling industrial equipment and/or long-term services related to such equipment, preferably within the power generation sector.
• Proficiency in Canadian French and English.
