This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of regional account executives to achieve and surpass regional sales objectives and professional development goals.
• Design and implement the sales channel strategy throughout the UAE, with a key emphasis on guiding the team in identifying, acquiring, and onboarding tier-1 channel partners.
• Establish and nurture executive-level relationships with essential business partners, including top-tier enterprise end users, strategic system integrators, and alliance partners.
• Propel regional revenue growth through all direct and indirect sales initiatives, supervising high-value enterprise transactions, software maintenance agreement renewals, and global/international key accounts.
• Ensure that the local team and channel partners receive appropriate training, resources, and ongoing alignment with new products, unified solutions, and go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful vertical campaigns and assist regional sales management in organizing executive demand-generation efforts.
• Represent Genetec as a thought leader at industry events, conferences, panels, and partner summits within the region.
• Serve as a strategic liaison between the local sales team, regional leadership, customer service, sales development, and global channel enablement teams.
• Manage and develop the local network of security consultants, planners, and specifiers to ensure Genetec is included in significant regional tenders.
• Proficiency in English is essential. Arabic language skills are a significant advantage.
• A higher education degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 12 years of experience in indirect international sales, with a minimum of 5 years demonstrating success in leading and managing technical sales teams, ideally for a manufacturer.
• Extensive, established experience in the local UAE market and an active professional network within the region are crucial.
• A proven history of scaling sales teams and developing intricate channel networks in the IP physical security, VMS, or technical IT enterprise software sectors.
• A blend of a strategic hunter mentality with a natural coaching ability—proactive in recognizing market changes while empowering the team to achieve ambitious targets.
• Ability to challenge the status quo and implement strategic shifts in response to long-term company objectives.
• Highly organized, structured, and capable of maintaining team focus and composure in dynamic, high-growth environments.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, complemented by a resilient personality adept at managing complex stakeholder relationships.
