This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage your own sales pipeline and dedicated contract revenue, ensuring that potential clients typically spending over $100k per political cycle are efficiently guided towards closing, while meeting individual quarterly and annual sales quotas.
• Create precise forecasts regarding expected client expenditures and anticipated closing dates.
• Conduct meetings with current clients to explore commitment options in exchange for preferred pricing, collaborating with the Client Success team.
• Negotiate contracts pertaining to commitments and exclusivity.
• Oversee a list of assigned existing clients, identifying the primary contact within each organization.
• Lead and facilitate product presentations for prospective clients, providing timely follow-ups to ensure deals are progressing towards successful closure.
• Engage with potential clients to arrange demos, overcome obstacles, answer queries, and supply sales materials to persuade internal stakeholders.
• Monitor the sales phone and inbox during designated shifts, responding to client inquiries and calls promptly.
• Conduct discovery calls and follow-up meetings with prospective clients, gathering insights on pain points, decision-makers, and timelines to advance the sales process.
• Prepare and send client contracts, following up as necessary to ensure prompt signatures.
• Input and refine sales data in Hubspot to maintain a clear understanding of each client's status within the sales pipeline.
• Possess knowledge and experience in solution-selling or consultative selling methodologies.
• Have experience navigating a complex sales process.
• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of industry trends relevant to customers.
• 8+ years of experience in positioning and selling large, complex solutions within the political sector.
• Proven experience in both securing new business and nurturing existing business relationships.
• A demonstrated history of consistently exceeding sales quotas while working with a solutions software vendor.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build multi-level, consultative relationships, including engagement with C-level executives.
• Experience selling to political campaigns and consultants is advantageous.
