Senior Sales Manager – Industrial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external relationships, ranging from field personnel to the executive team.

• Function as a liaison to gain a comprehensive understanding of the customer's business model and illustrate how GE’s products and services enhance value for the customer.

• Develop and spearhead the account strategy for these key accounts, emphasizing the retention of existing business while expanding our presence within the Grid Solutions portfolio.

• Oversee various sales channels, coordinating support from the business to empower these channels in generating results.

• Identify, qualify, and cultivate sales leads within targeted market segments.

• Discover potential prospects and establish new sales opportunities.

• Achieve or surpass annual commercial order intake and margin goals.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge and experience.

• At least 10 years of professional experience.

• Significant experience in direct sales, channel sales, or account leadership roles.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical or industrial market sales or in a product business role.

• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful growth strategies.

• Strong ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders and customers.

• Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.

• Proven ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.

• Demonstrated capacity to lead programs and projects successfully.

• Competence in documentation, planning, marketing, and executing programs.

• Solid project management skills.
