This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Responsible for engaging with customers to secure business within the Data Centre Market, demonstrating the ability to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Adheres to the goals set by the Commercial policy.
• Operates with a degree of autonomy in fulfilling commercial targets while remaining within budgetary and operational guidelines.
• The main focus will be on Sales within the Data Center sector.
• Concentrates on Data Center initiatives and offers solutions related to Power & Distribution Transformers, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, Instrument Transformers, Power Quality, and Power Sensing devices.
• Acts as the Key Account Manager for the Data Centre segment, fostering business growth by overseeing key client accounts and identifying new business prospects across several states.
• Formulates and implements the commercial strategy for selling Grid Solutions Power Transmission products and services, encompassing Power & Distribution Transformers, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, Instrument Transformers, Power Quality, and Power Sensing devices.
• Collaborates with regional leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
• Responsible for precise forecasting of orders, convertible orders, margins, and sales for customers.
• Develops and maintains strategic relationships with key decision-makers in collaboration with regional Directors to support sales team account strategies.
• Drives the identification, prospecting, and creation of new sales opportunities.
• Assists in creating written strategies for targeting opportunities at strategic customer accounts in the Data Centre sector.
• Provides insights on market trends, pricing, and competition to the product line marketing team.
• Conducts periodic account reviews with management.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in relevant roles.
• Experience in direct sales, channel sales, or account leadership.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven successful sales experience in the Data Centre industry, preferably with knowledge of Electrical equipment such as Power & Distribution Transformers, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, and Instrument Transformers.
• Experience in developing and implementing effective growth strategies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and clients.
• A background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities.
• Proven ability to analyze and address problems effectively.
• Demonstrated capacity to lead programs and projects.
• Skilled in documentation, planning, marketing, and program execution.
• Established project management capabilities.
