This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Responsible for engaging with customers to secure business in the Data Centre Market, ensuring timely achievement of objectives.
• Act as the Key Account Manager for the Data Centre segment, focusing on driving growth by managing key client accounts and identifying new business opportunities across several states.
• Formulate and implement the commercial strategy for the sale of Grid Solutions Power Transmission products and services.
• Work collaboratively with regional leadership and cross-functional teams to provide tailored solutions that meet client needs.
• Take ownership of precise forecasting for orders, convertible orders, margins, and sales for customers.
• Build and maintain strategic customer relationships with key decision-makers, supported by the regional Directors, to bolster account strategies for sales teams.
• Lead the identification, prospecting, and creation of new sales opportunities.
• Assist in developing written strategies for pursuing opportunities at strategic customer accounts within the Data Centre sector.
• Offer insights regarding market trends, pricing, and competition to the product line marketing team.
• Conduct periodic account reviews with management.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution, or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record in direct sales, channel sales, or account leadership roles.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• At least 3 years of successful sales experience in the Data Centre industry, preferably with a background in Electrical equipment such as Power & Distribution Transformers, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, and Instrument Transformers.
• Experience in developing and executing effective growth strategies.
• Ability to engage and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and customers.
• Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Proven capability to analyze and solve problems.
• Demonstrated experience in leading programs and projects.
• Competence in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.
• Well-established project management skills.
