This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Create tailored coaching plans and conduct regular sessions with each team member to evaluate performance and offer constructive feedback for improvement.
• Mentor and foster a growth mindset within the team.
• Identify and recruit top-tier sales talent while managing performance and disciplinary issues.
• Evaluate and establish account territory priorities for the team.
• Develop and sustain accurate sales forecasts, regularly reviewing and adjusting sales strategies and projections.
• Utilize data to track performance and pinpoint trends or opportunities for enhancement.
• Formulate sales strategies and tactics that are in line with company objectives and customer needs.
• Observe, evaluate, and monitor seller outreach, deal pipelines, and deal quality.
• Cultivate strong relationships with internal peer teams and leadership to promote cross-organizational success.
• Establish relationships with external customers, prospects, and partners to support the go-to-market strategy.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration to ensure the sales team has the necessary support and resources for success.
• Encourage a culture of teamwork and collaboration within the sales team to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Foster an environment of feedback and open communication to ensure all team members feel valued and heard, addressing any issues or concerns.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a related field, such as enterprise technology or complex solution sales.
• At least 3 years of progressive sales management experience, ideally within software or technology organizations.
• An undergraduate degree or a comparable combination of knowledge and relevant career experience.
• Proficiency in both German and English.
• Familiarity with the Software as a Service (SaaS) business model.
• Demonstrated sales success in achieving (and surpassing) quota targets in selling complex technology or software solutions.
• Capable of providing deal support and guidance to sales professionals handling both large enterprise and mid-market accounts.
• Proficient in managing and coaching a diverse group of sales professionals.
• Outstanding communication skills and strong business acumen.
• Executive presence with the ability to engage effectively at the senior level.
• Skilled in identifying and understanding the influence of stakeholders versus buyers and navigating the intricacies of each during the sales cycle.
• Capable of leading a team to manage multiple complex sales cycles concurrently.
• Proficient in negotiating pricing while maintaining value retention.
