Manager, Technical Sales – HK, Taiwan, China

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Lead strategic customer interactions in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

• Oversee, guide, and nurture a team of four Technical Sales Engineers.

• Act as the main resource for enabling and training Technical Sales managers throughout China.

• Serve as the primary contact for escalating complex technical and product-related issues.

• Lead or assist in technically intricate proof-of-concept and proof-of-value initiatives.

• Collaborate closely with the regional sales leader and the Country Manager for Taiwan.

• Document and convey customer successes, field insights, and technical deficiencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6 to 10 years of experience in enterprise technology pre-sales, including a minimum of 2 years in a team leadership or first-line management position.

• Exceptional technical expertise in data security, backup solutions, data management, or secondary storage.

• Naturally skilled in coaching and mentoring.

• Strong instinct for enablement and training.

• Demonstrated ownership of escalation processes.

• Credible with senior stakeholders.

• Bilingual proficiency is highly preferred — fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.

• Willingness to travel throughout Hong Kong, Taiwan, and mainland China.
