This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee sales initiatives and propel business expansion in the North America region, encompassing Canada and the US.
• Discover opportunities and formulate business strategies culminating in contract agreements.
• Create bidding strategies.
• Comprehend market dynamics and customer requirements while aligning growth strategies with customer objectives.
• Conduct research, gather data, and evaluate market trends to outline the sales strategy.
• Establish and nurture relationships with customer stakeholders, decision-makers, and partners.
• Collaborate with the New Build Tendering team during the ITO phase.
• Lead the Deal Team for designated opportunities, including offer compilation, submission, and contract negotiations.
• Fulfill commitments, convey progress and strategies, and meet or surpass targets.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements for high-value projects.
• Suggest best practices to enhance products, processes, or services.
• Support cross-functional initiatives.
• Maintain CRM records for assigned opportunities.
• Provide regular sales performance reports and forecasts to senior leadership.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering Sciences or Business Administration from an accredited institution.
• Significant experience in the power plant or energy industry.
• Over 10 years of experience in customer-facing roles and managing complex customer interfaces.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strategic thinking and adept problem-solving skills.
• Strong negotiation, closing, and contract management capabilities.
• Ability to perform under pressure and achieve sales targets and deadlines.
• Proficient in communicating effectively at all organizational levels.
• Specialized knowledge in conventional island product lines, markets, sales processes, and customer groups.
• Strong commercial insight and willingness to travel frequently.
• Capacity to manage intricate tasks or issues within projects, markets, sales processes, campaigns, or customers.
• Ability to evaluate information quality and pose relevant questions to stakeholders or customers.
• Skills to develop solutions beyond established parameters and provide recommendations.
• Capable of working within a matrix organization and leading cross-functional teams.
