This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Accountable for surpassing revenue targets within your designated territory.
• Integrate prospecting into your daily routine to ensure a continuous influx of new prospects into the sales funnel.
• Handle a complex enterprise solution sale that typically spans a purchasing cycle of 6 to 12 months.
• Navigate the entire sales process, actively involving other D2L resources as necessary to drive success.
• Commit to ongoing learning about new products and enhance your selling abilities.
• Participate in training events throughout the year and engage in self-paced tutorial learning as appropriate.
• Stay well-informed about current industry trends and engage in informed discussions about the education sector in your assigned area/region.
• Comprehend all D2L Partner relationships and their relevance to D2L sales.
• Effectively utilize the sales CRM tool to record all sales-related information.
• Attend and contribute to sales meetings, product seminars, and trade shows.
• Create written presentations, reports, and price quotations.
• Assist with contract negotiations.
• Develop and maintain a measurable 12-month sales pipeline.
• Efficiently deploy D2L resources at the right stages of the sales cycle to progress the sales process.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues in Marketing, Professional Services, Finance, Engineering, and other departments as required.
• 8-10+ years of sales experience in the eLearning, education, or complex solution software sales sectors.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software sales cycles and experience engaging with key decision-makers in educational institutions/universities.
• Knowledge of the eLearning/education industry is preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully meeting assigned quotas.
• Ability to manage a pipeline of over 50 accounts simultaneously.
• Capability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong leadership, motivational, and presentation skills are essential.
• Demonstrated success in prospecting, building a pipeline, and advancing opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting, and discussing solutions with C-level and other decision-makers.
• Ability to design solutions with appropriate products and services that align with business objectives based on client interactions.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time or more.
• Languages: Fluent in English.
