This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee customer interactions by nurturing relationships, making calls, and finalizing sales.
• Utilize CRM tools to identify, contact, and monitor potential clients to secure both core and strategic opportunities.
• Conduct visits to customers and prospective clients within the designated territory 3 to 4 days each week.
• Efficiently carry out sales activities to achieve or surpass daily, monthly, or annual objectives.
• Contribute to the regional team not only by consistently meeting new net revenue goals, but also by sharing insights, ideas, and best practices to enhance the overall success of the sales team and the Branch.
• Analyze how various market factors may influence a customer's supply chain and present compelling cases for change.
• Maintain a robust commercial presence in the local market by participating in or presenting at regional events.
• Stay actively engaged with customers to foster relationships and ensure the ongoing success of accounts in partnership with the local assigned Account Executive/Account Manager.
• At least 4 years of outside sales experience in the freight forwarding industry.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, a minimum of 3 to 4 days per week.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong inclination towards business development with a clear “hunter” mentality.
• Advanced understanding of logistical concepts and supply chain terminology.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and utilize time efficiently.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Strong persuasive skills with the ability to motivate and influence others.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with a positive attitude and a clear focus on high quality and business profitability.
• Ability to develop and sustain strong inter-company relationships.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
