This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Lead and develop strategic, high-value customer engagements, securing technical victories in the most intricate enterprise opportunities.
• Serve as the primary technical consultant to executive stakeholders, shaping both IT and business strategies.
• Spearhead technology strategies at the account and territory levels, establishing Cohesity as a long-term solution for data security and management.
• Manage and direct complex solution architectures across hybrid, multi-cloud, and enterprise settings.
• Create and implement advanced proof of concepts (PoCs) that showcase both technical advantages and quantifiable business value.
• Anticipate customer challenges and opportunities, including those that are not explicitly mentioned, and convert them into strategic initiatives.
• Facilitate cross-functional teamwork among Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success to achieve optimal results.
• Ensure that technical risks are identified early and effectively mitigated throughout key deals and programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Typically, 10+ years of pertinent experience in pre-sales, architecture, or technical leadership positions.
• Extensive background in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales Solutions Architecture, or Technical Pre-Sales leadership roles.
• Proven capability to manage large, complex, multi-stakeholder engagements in sophisticated environments.
• Strong history of influencing customer strategies and executive decision-making.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise IT ecosystems, including data protection, cloud technologies, and security.
• Ability to link technical solutions to business value and measurable customer outcomes.
• Technical proficiency in data protection, cyber resilience, and modern data platforms.
• Strong architectural acumen across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Industry certifications (in cloud, data, or security technologies) are highly preferred.
