This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive new customer acquisition and growth opportunities by effectively communicating Cohesity’s Data Cloud offerings, including backup, recovery, cyber resilience, and data security management, to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Deliver expert, customized technical assistance throughout the sales process, encompassing discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
• Collaborate on technical strategy for enterprise opportunities alongside the Account Executive, playing a vital role in deal progression and winning strategies.
• Facilitate the integration of Cohesity products into existing production environments, responding to technical queries promptly and professionally.
• Lead and support technical initiatives such as product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, proposals, and evaluations.
• Identify customer needs and potential risks, aiding in the development of proofs of concept that showcase Cohesity’s strengths in cyber resilience and data security.
• Assist in competitive displacement discussions by thoroughly understanding customer environments and effectively positioning Cohesity.
• Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to communicate customer feedback and contribute to product enhancements.
• Provide post-sales technical support or project assistance as needed to ensure positive outcomes and high customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrated experience in pre-sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting within infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud platforms in enterprise settings.
• Practical experience with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Proficient understanding of data security principles, including ransomware resilience, immutable storage, encryption, and access controls.
• Familiarity with competitive technologies and an eagerness to develop competitive positioning skills.
• Experience in supporting proofs of concept, evaluations, and technical decision-making processes.
• Ability to articulate technical architecture in terms of clear customer benefits and business outcomes.
• Proven experience collaborating with Account Executives to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Demonstrated capability to utilize AI tools to boost productivity, streamline workflows, and facilitate decision-making.
• Understanding of enterprise purchasing processes and deal dynamics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.
• A collaborative attitude with the ability to handle complex customer situations with professionalism and confidence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant industry certifications in cloud, data, or related technologies are advantageous.
• Proficiency in English (capable of fluent interaction in speaking, reading, and writing in a professional context).
