This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Collaborate closely as a “two-in-a-box” team with the Account Executive (AE): together, develop and implement the account plan and customer engagement strategy (stakeholders, use cases, messaging, mutual action plan), ensuring strong alignment from discovery to closure.
• Facilitate impactful customer engagements: conduct discovery sessions, workshops, demonstrations, and architectural discussions; transform requirements into secure Network Security & Cloud solution designs and articulate measurable outcomes (risk mitigation, compliance, efficiency).
• Develop technical win strategies and proof points: establish and execute the technical strategy for opportunities (including PoCs/pilots when necessary), define success metrics, coordinate internal resources, and steer deals towards clear customer-aligned decisions.
• Proven track record in Senior Sales Engineering within the German Public Sector: demonstrated ability to support complex deals throughout the entire process (discovery → solution design → business case → closure), with measurable impact on pipeline and wins, along with a solid understanding of stakeholder dynamics and public procurement/tender processes (Federal/State/Municipal; experience in at least one segment required).
• Extensive technical knowledge in Network Security and Cloud, encompassing architecture-level comprehension, relevant security controls/use cases, and the integration into customer environments.
• Value-driven and outcome-focused communication: capable of translating technical concepts into compelling customer value (risk mitigation, compliance, efficiency, cost/benefit) and delivering executive-ready presentations/workshops/demos in German (English for internal collaboration).
• High adaptability to learning: quickly assimilates new topics (e.g., AI / AI security) and converts them into relevant use cases and clear customer-facing positioning.
• Strong collaboration and professionalism: a dedicated team player with high integrity and a consistently professional demeanor; effective cross-functional collaboration with Sales/CS/Product, including knowledge sharing and mentoring.
