This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Drive opportunities for new customer acquisition and expansion by effectively communicating Cohesity’s Data Cloud offerings, which include backup, recovery, cyber resilience, and data security management capabilities, to both business and technical audiences.
• Deliver expert, customized technical support throughout the sales process, encompassing discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
• Collaborate on technical strategy for enterprise opportunities alongside the Account Executive, contributing to the progression of deals and the overall win strategy.
• Assist customers in integrating Cohesity products within their existing production environments, addressing technical inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Lead and support technical initiatives such as product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, proposals, and evaluations.
• Identify customer needs and risk factors, aiding in the development of proofs of concept that showcase Cohesity’s strengths in cyber resilience and data security.
• Support competitive displacement discussions by gaining insight into customer environments and effectively positioning Cohesity.
• Work collaboratively with Product Management, Engineering, and Support teams to communicate customer feedback and inform product enhancements.
• Provide technical assistance or project support post-sale when required to guarantee successful results and customer satisfaction.
• 8-10 years of experience in Sales Engineering: Proven track record in pre-sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting within infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud platforms in enterprise settings.
• Practical experience with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with data security principles, including ransomware resilience, immutable storage, encryption, and access control mechanisms.
• Knowledge of competitive technologies and a desire to develop skills in competitive positioning.
• Experience in supporting proofs of concept, evaluations, and technical decision-making processes.
• Ability to convert technical architecture into clear customer value and business outcomes.
• Experience collaborating with Account Executives to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Proven capability to utilize AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and facilitate decision-making.
• Understanding of enterprise purchasing processes and deal dynamics.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to both business and technical audiences clearly.
• A collaborative approach with the ability to manage complex customer situations with professionalism and confidence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a comparable practical experience.
• Industry certifications related to cloud, data, or similar technologies are advantageous.
• Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate fluently in speaking, reading, and writing in a professional context.
