This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Partner with Account Executives to effectively articulate the technical advantages of our cybersecurity consulting services during prospect calls, demonstrations, and presentations.
• Deliver product demonstrations to highlight essential features and functionalities while addressing technical inquiries and concerns from clients.
• Assist in formulating sales strategies, pricing frameworks, and contract negotiations grounded in technical insights.
• Hands-on experience across various product domains utilizing tools such as Linux, Windows, Active Directory (AD), logging systems, firewalls, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, CrowdStrike, VMware Carbon Black, Duo Security, Office 365, Okta, and other security solutions.
• Understand customer successes and challenges, relay customer feedback within Blumira, and advocate for client interests.
• Provide technical expertise to enable clients to comprehend how Blumira can assist in achieving their business objectives.
• Distill complex technical concepts into straightforward, business-relevant language that is comprehensible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Remain updated on cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to enrich customer conversations and internal training efforts.
• Analyze customer needs, pain points, and business challenges to develop customized proposals in collaboration with the Account Executive team.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions consulting, with a preference for cybersecurity experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working within or alongside a channel ecosystem, such as Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), or Technology Service Providers (TSPs).
• Advanced technical expertise with the capability to grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven experience in presenting technical products and services to clients, offering expert advice, and resolving customer inquiries.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and forge strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, tools, and frameworks (e.g., network/application security, cloud security, vulnerability management, compliance, security operations, managed security services).
• Self-driven and target-oriented, with a demonstrated history of meeting or surpassing sales goals and fostering revenue growth.
• Strong discovery and consultative abilities, with the capacity to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions.
