This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Cultivates relationships with the paper mill customer base to uncover Andritz sales opportunities.
• Performs audits and service calls on paper machines to support customers with innovative sales applications.
• Ensures that customer requirements are clearly articulated and addressed promptly.
• Executes optimization of paper machines, conducts shutdown inspections, and generates onsite reports.
• Enhances operational efficiencies for customers using proprietary modeling software applications.
• Diagnoses customer issues and provides or assists in the implementation of suitable solutions.
• Reduces warranty exposure through early identification and prevention of potential challenges.
• Aids paper mills in establishing accurate records and completing value results platforms.
• Supports the local team in building and maintaining detailed databases regarding customer paper machine clothing, roll covers, bowed rolls, mechanical specifications, installations, and product lifespan information.
• Conducts “Rezolve - press optimization studies” on local paper machines to improve productivity and boost Andritz sales.
• Actively seeks and suggests new applications for machine clothing, roll covers, and bowed rolls.
• Reports field activities, including sales prospects, inter-company matters, and competitive issues to the respective Sales Manager.
• Compiles a monthly summary for the Regional Sales Manager highlighting the previous month’s achievements, forecasts for upcoming requirements, opportunities in the field, plant concerns, and competitive insights.
• Oversees an expense budget to sustain and expand business operations.
• Preferred degree in Engineering or Business, along with extensive experience in maintenance, production, or sales within the paper or related industries.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven capability in building relationships.
• Familiarity with paper mill operations.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit.
• Proficient computer skills, including a solid understanding of Word, Excel, and general database management.
• Some travel within the designated region is necessary.
