Energy Efficiency Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Achieving the specification of Socomec energy-efficiency systems in collaboration with consultants and end-users.

• Conducting CPD-accredited lunch and learn sessions as well as customer events.

• Preparing tenders and quotations derived from technical specifications, schematics, or site visits.

• Managing and enhancing the System Integrator Programme across the UK.

• Providing support to regional sales engineers with in-depth knowledge of energy efficiency solutions.

• Contributing to product development by gathering customer feedback, pricing insights, and market intelligence.

• Leading customer audits to showcase the financial advantages of granular energy monitoring.

• Serving as a technical authority on energy-efficiency applications and market trends.

• Collaborating closely with internal UK Sales Teams and the Energy Efficiency Business Application team.

• Assisting in new product launches, pricing revisions, and promotional initiatives.

• Steering the UK strategy for energy-efficiency solutions within key market segments.

• Conducting and developing energy audits with a target of 12 per year.

• Representing Socomec at trade exhibitions, consultant gatherings, and partner sessions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in technical solution sales, preferably in metering, measurement, or energy management.

• Strong comprehension of electrical networks (LV), industrial automation, and IT environments.

• A background in electrical, electronic, or software engineering is preferred.

• Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.

• Willingness to travel across the UK (50% in London and 50% nationally).
