This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Sales team to convey the comprehensive value proposition, vision, and strategy of Datadog to customers.

• Oversee technical interactions with customers during the trial period. Articulate Datadog’s value by addressing activities and collaborating with customers on any identified issues or concerns until successful resolution.

• Successfully close complex opportunities utilizing advanced competitive insights, technical expertise, and credibility.

• Provide product and technical briefings and presentations to prospective clients.

• Keep precise notes and feedback in the CRM concerning customer inputs, including both successes and failures.

• Actively engage and communicate with customers as well as Datadog's business and technical teams regarding product feedback and the competitive landscape.


⛳️ Requirements

• Enthusiastic about educating customers on observability risks that significantly impact their business, and capable of developing and executing an evaluation plan with a client.

• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. This position necessitates the ability to comprehend and articulate both the business benefits (value proposition) and the technical advantages of our solutions.

• Proficient in programming or scripting in any of the following languages: Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.JS, PHP, or .NET, among others.

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering or DevOps Engineering role is required.

• Must be able to sit for up to 4 hours while commuting to and from client locations.

• Willingness to travel by car, train, or air up to 45% of the time.
