Senior Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Conduct presentations and demonstrations during both live and virtual customer meetings

• Execute and oversee proof-of-concepts (POCs) until achieving technical sign-off

• Assist in lead-generation initiatives such as events, webinars, user groups, and more

• Collaborate with customers and partners to convert business goals into technical specifications

• Offer independent technical consulting regarding data protection to customers

• Work closely with the sales team to secure new partners and customers

• Partner with product management to gather and relay customer feedback

• Aid customers in the pre-sales assessment of Veeam software


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in solution selling and/or technical pre-sales is preferred

• Background in data protection technologies is essential

• Familiarity with storage, networking, and/or cloud technologies is highly advantageous

• Experience with monitoring tools and frameworks is required

• Proven expertise in virtualization technologies is necessary

• Capability to work independently in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision; a spirited, motivated individual who can swiftly grasp new technologies

• Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks and responsibilities

• VMCE certification is a plus; employees have the chance to acquire VMCE and VMCA post-employment

• Openness to travel
