This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Present technical demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of Selector Software’s AIOps analytics solution to potential clients and customers, leveraging a solid understanding of application and network protocols.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify the business challenges faced by prospects and determine how Selector AI can enhance business continuity while minimizing key outage-related metrics (MTTD, MTTI, MTTR).
• Design and architect customer implementations of the SelectorAI platform and solutions tailored to address critical customer concerns.
• Lead customer Proof of Value (POV) initiatives to highlight the benefits and results of the AIOps solution using the SelectorAI platform by comprehending various network and monitoring protocols, including SNMP, BGP, Syslog, REST APIs, telemetry (gNMI), and other compatible tools.
• Work in partnership with customer operations teams to understand their workflows and challenges, enabling effective integration of the Selector AI platform.
• Offer post-sales technical assistance (training, deployment, support, etc.) in conjunction with the Selector Customer Success team.
• Investigate technical topics relevant to customer interactions and explore industry-impacting technical subjects to establish oneself as a thought leader.
• Cultivate and sustain technical and trusted advisory relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Profound knowledge of networking and related protocols (MPLS, BGP, Traffic Engineering, IGPs, SDWAN, Wireless, etc.).
• Proven experience in delivering technical solutions to Fortune 500 companies.
• Willingness to travel for in-person customer meetings (1-3 times per month).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a pre-sales technical role within the networking or application technology sector.
• Familiarity with infrastructure and application monitoring is a significant advantage (e.g., hypervisors, REST APIs, etc.).
