This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Become proficient in Samsara products, where cutting-edge technology (IoT, AI, computer vision) drives digital transformation for physical operations.
• Clearly communicate to potential clients how similar businesses utilize Samsara to address industry-specific challenges.
• Produce deliverables that facilitate successful deals, including discovery sessions, demonstrations, value assessments, and proof of concept implementations.
• Develop scripts using our open API to address real-world issues for companies providing essential services, and document these for your fellow Solutions Engineers (SEs).
• Create opportunities for deeper account integration (including upselling and cross-selling) by acting as a consultant for your clients.
• Serve as a bridge between Samsara’s product and sales teams, conveying technical feedback and involving the appropriate clients in our beta programs.
• Collaborate with sales executives to strategize, prepare, and execute transactions within fast-paced sales cycles.
• Work across various levels of the technology stack.
• Assist sales executives with ad-hoc inquiries and email correspondence.
• Cultivate relationships with third-party partners, including software providers, systems integrators, and installation partners.
• Advocate for and exemplify Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we expand globally and establish new offices.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience engaging with customers in a pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support role.
• Capable of influencing stakeholders through your technical sales expertise and a strong understanding of business processes and change management.
• Skilled in simplifying complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Previous experience overseeing hardware and/or software product evaluations.
• Fundamental knowledge of electronics and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with concepts such as technical consulting, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, automation, and control systems.
• Proficient in French.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple accounts and projects at varying stages.
