Senior Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the execution of deals and validate technical aspects.

• Serve as the main technical liaison for enterprise and institutional partners during evaluations, pilot programs, and integration into production systems.

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions that address architecture, performance, security, compliance, and operational requirements.

• Design and maintain test environments (e.g., development networks, performance benchmarks, cloud deployments, etc.) to assess throughput, latency, and cost assumptions.

• Address detailed technical inquiries from banks, asset managers, system integrators, and regulatory bodies.

• Connect product, engineering, and customer needs.

• Convert enterprise requirements into precise technical feedback for the OP Labs product and engineering teams.

• Contribute to shaping roadmap priorities related to institutional requirements (e.g., performance, compliance tools, privacy, sequencing models).

• Assist in integrations with wallets, custody providers, cloud infrastructure, and system integrators (e.g., Fireblocks, AWS, SIs).

• Prepare partners for production readiness.

• Guide partners through OP Stack architecture, deployment models, upgrade paths, and operational best practices.

• Aid in documentation localization and technical enablement in Japanese.

• Assist customers in comparing and migrating from private/permissioned experimentation to public or hybrid production deployments.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Pre-Sales position.

• Experience in blockchain infrastructure, cloud platforms, distributed systems, or financial infrastructure.

• Practical experience with Ethereum or EVM-based systems (Layer 1 or Layer 2 is highly preferred).

• Experience collaborating with regulated institutions (banks, asset managers, exchanges, payments firms) is a significant advantage.

• Strong grasp of blockchain architecture, including sequencing, finality, rollups, smart contracts, and network operations.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and production deployment environments.

• Ability to analyze performance, scalability, security, and operational trade-offs.

• Proficient in articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
